Dr. Beth Chapman Hanlon is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed her residency at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals, where she was also Chief Medical Resident. She was recognized in 1990 as University of Utah Outstanding Resident and at the VA Medical Center as Outstanding Humanitarian Resident in 1990.
After her residency, Dr. Hanlon was an attending physician at the University of Utah Hospital and VA Medical Center until 1993, when she joined the medical staff of the former Holy Cross Hospital (now Salt Lake Regional Hospital). Dr. Hanlon and Dr. Ahn founded Alpine Medical Group, LLC, in 1997. Since then, Dr. Hanlon has been in private practice as a primary care internal medicine specialist.
Her clinical interests include:
- Health-maintenance issues in adult patients, especially those with diabetes
- Hypertension
- Cardiovascular disease
